Anyhow, I have been looking through courses catered by MDIS, and I’m planning to get myself enrolled in “Diploma in Business Management.” It’s harder than I thought – considering the fact that my highest qualification is O level, at 4 credits only.
Admission criteria as follows;
(1) Partial GCE ‘A’ levels OR
(2) Minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ level credits OR
(3) ITE CBS, ITC or Higher NITEC holders OR
(4) Professional Certificate in Business Management awarded by MDIS or equivalent.
Apparently, I qualified for NONE on the above. According to what my friend says, they might not be as strict in the criteria itself. Simpler terms, leniency.
In addition to that, I’ll list down the administrative details as follows;
Day Programme;
- Course Fee at $3,800 (Full payment) OR $4,200 (2 Instalments).
- Classes meet for 3 – 5 times a week, amounting to 15 contact hours per week, and can be completed within 6.5 months.
Evening Programme;
- Course Fee at $3,500 (Full payment) OR $3,700 (2 Instalments).
- 3 modules can be taken per term, and can be completed within 9 months, OR I can choose to undertake the course at my own pace within a maximum time span of 3 years.
Pertaining to admission criteria for Point No. 2, I have already enquire what I should, and this is the solution they gave me: To submit a resume upon submitting the application form, to increase the chances of getting enrolled – in such case, they will assist by appealing.
Somehow, if I get rejected by MDIS, I’m only left with ONE solution: To re-take my O’s. Sighhh.
