Plans before 21

I tossed and turned in bed for about 2 hours before I drift into deep slumber. It was 3.30am then. So much thoughts flood through my mind - license, house, career.. blah blah blah. (the list goes on and on)

I hope.. to get my own room before my 21st birthday. Before I even could achieve this objective, I ought to start looking for a flat, together with my mom. Well, I'm sure many who read my blog often will be aware that I'm currently staying at my uncle's place. It's never nice to stay under people's roof, though it's easier for us to keep in touch. After which, I'll start saving once I'm out of NS, probably about 5k or so to get my own room decorated - I've always wanted to do this, but never got the chance to.

I hope.. to have a dog of my own. I'm envious of people who breeds a dog, but I know nothing about having one. It takes ample time to train a dog. I remember once my friend had to stay home for a couple of weeks just to train his dog. That shows how much patience one should commit. I'll probably reward myself with 2 weeks break before I step into the working society entirely.

I hope.. to have a car of my own. I had a conversation with my uncle over dinner last night, and he taught me the basics of driving, not forgetting to proscratinate against unreasonable testers. As soon as I'm done with my BTT on 19 August, I'll move on to FTT, before taking up pratical lesson, and eventually obtaining my very own license.

I hope.. to find a career that earns me about 2k per month, considering that I'll only have a Private Diploma cert by the end of the year. Looking at the economy recently, many are getting retrenched, and my friends are still keeping a lookout for job. That's how bad the situation is now.

I hope.. to find my other half in time to come, though I'm not looking for one at the moment. The basic criteria that I'm looking for - someone who understands and accomodates to my schedule. That's probably more than enough for me.

I hope.. to further my studies by next year, taking up advance dip in my current course. Even at Diploma level, i'm finding it a struggle to understand the concept of business terms. I hope I'll be able to cope in due time.

That probably sums up the entire plans before my 21st birthday. I'm sure it'll be a fun-filled occasion, which I've planned since a long time ago. Probably the best time to bond with people in my social life. I'm awaiting..
