♥♥ TOP 5 THINGS I MUST ADHERED TO!
#1 - I must sleep before 12.30am
(only if the next day is a working day)
For the past few weeks, I have been sleeping at 2am almost everyday. With an average of sleeping 5 hours per day, it indeed is a killer for me knowing that I have to wake up at 7 the next day. Sleeping less also makes you feel fatigue, and in turn, you might get ill. Therefore, I'm gonna be disciplined and head to bed the moment it hits 12.30am. If you see me online, please shoo me away okay! And this brings me to point no. 2...
#2 - I must not be late for work
I always have the habit of lazing around in bed (I'm sure many of you have that habit too!). As soon as my alarm goes off, I'll snooze it and continue sleeping. Believe it or not, but three alarms doesn't resolve this issue. I tried setting 5 alarms too, but it's totally helpless!
It has been almost 2 months ever since I started work at the new company, and I'm late almost everyday, at least a good 15 mins. It isn't that bad recently since I've adhered to sleeping at 12.30am each night. Kudos to me! I really hope I don't get blacklisted because of this. It's totally not worth it!
#3 - I will save at least $200 a month
Since young, I never have the habit of saving. In fact, my spending power is always on the increased. As the saying goes, "you spent more than you earned". I couldn't agree more to this statement. I've always been telling myself to save, save & save for rainy days. BUT.. whenever I check my bank account, it's always close to $0. Maybe I should stop being generous. Maybe I should stop treating my friends. But I doubt I could do that. I always believe in 2 mottos:-
"Money is a sensitive issue" & "Money can always be earned back"
Therefore, when it comes to money, I never once argue with my friends/colleagues/family. I'll initiate to pay even though I'm broke. What will you do if you were me?
#4 - I must change my temper
"A leopard never change its spots". How much do you agree to this statement?
All along, people around me have been tolerating my nonsense. I know I'm bad-tempered, yet it's really hard for me to change it. For eg: This morning when I quarreled with my lady boss, I was so agitated that I raised my voice and walked out of the room immediately after that. I never think of the consequences, and I usually act as I feel like it, and only regret when I'm about to face the music.
It's never easy to kick a habit the moment you're hooked onto it. Same thing applies. It's never easy to change since my temper has always been like that ever since the day I was born (no joke!). My family knows me the best! I tried to change, but my tolerance level is too low. And at times, it is also my temper that scares people off.
#5 - I should start on my exercise regime, at least 3 times a week!
I haven't been exercising for the past few months! It's not because I'm lazy (at times only!), but I'm always out after work, and only getting home at 11pm almost every night. Believe it or not, I used to be so disciplined that every morning before I head to work, I'll go for a jog. This time round, other than having difficulty of waking up, laziness has taken over me.
Recently, I just got back to exercising again, and hopefully, this gonna stay with me for the rest of my life!
FYI: I've set up my formspring account! If you wanna know any juicy details about me, kindly ask me any questions on the little box that's given to you. I'll be glad to answer any questions.
