It was the longest bus ride I ever took yesterday!
The travelling time from CCK to Town is approximately 30 mins. Due to the floods yesterday, I was trapped on the bus for 2 hours! What's worse is, it was my first day of work yesterday.
I was reading twitter while heading to work only then i realised Singapore is flooded. It's probably the first time such things happened after such a long time.
Here's some of the pictures.

Though it's flooded all over Orchard, but Singapore's drainage system is good! Within less than an hour or so, they got everything cleared and the traffic became smooth again.
More details can be read at STOMP.SG. I'm sure the news had already reported such incident.
FYI: Yesterday marks my last day of work too!
Here's what happened..
The position I'm interviewing for is actually "Project & Event Management". And yesterday when I met my friends, I actually asked them what exactly is event management to them.
And they said: "Event management is all about planning and overseeing events!"
Fair enough. So, when I went for the first interview, the interviewer did not touch on this at all. It merely tells me about the company history, and I'll be train as a leader to oversee the department. Then, I was asked to go for the second interview, and again, it did not touch on this again. The interviewer merely ask me to sign the contract. ONLY UNTIL YESTERDAY did she tell me that I'm supposed to work as a Scouter for three months!
Scouter - Heading out to the street to look for Potential Models. In another words, marketing for the company.
Throughout my life, I never liked Marketing at all. It has never come to me that I was tasked to do scouting for the first three months. All she said was, "you'll be doing presenting almost everyday, to hundreds of people".
And so, right after my first day of work, I told her I'll not be working for her, not any longer.
After work, I met Jake for dinner before heading to my house to get my blog layout done! Then.. Lincoln text me and asked me to Butter Factory! I decided to go since it's my virigin experience at..
BUTTER FACTORY FTW!
The crowd was good, the music was good, even the atmosphere was so much better compared to other clubs! I'm glad I went.
After club, we (Lincoln, Eugenia, Marcus & Lifen) headed to Lau Pa Sat for supper before sending dear Lifen home. Then, we went to one of the ulu carparks to chill. We blasted the music from Lincoln's car, and we got really crazy in the middle of the night. It was definitely a blast.

Guess what! I slept for 13 hours today! SHIOK DAOOOOOO!
Monday's gonna be my first day of work at Redhill, Henserson. Wish me luck!
