It's always nice to have a bunch of close friends spending time together over the weekends, catching a movie or two, chilling out at the cafeteria, and gossiping about anything under the sun. Yes, that's what my friends & I are best at doing! We were bored on a Friday evening, and we decided to catch Tekken at Cineleisure. There were 9 of us.
If you're a fan of action movie, I'm very sure you'll love this show!
Based on the fighting game series of the same name. The film follows rebellious teenage fighter Jin Kazama (Jon Foo) in his attempts to enter the Iron Fist Tournament to avenge the loss of his mother, Jun Kazama, by confronting his father, Kazuya Mishima (Ian Anthony Dale) and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), the latters of whom he thought were responsible for her death. In the year 2039, after World Wars destroy much of civilisation as we know it, territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations; the mightiest of which is the Mishima Zaibatsu. To placate the seething masses of this dystopia, Mishima sponsors the King of Iron Fist Tournament, or Tekken, in which fighters battle until one is left standing, who in turn will receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth. We are introduced to this violent world through the eyes of Jin Kazama.
Rating: 2.5/5
The plot of the story wasn't very clear to me, at least. In addition to that, not everyone plays a part in the movie too. The transition of the movie from one scene to another is pretty abrupt, and it causes a little confusion to me. All in all, it's quite a disappointment to me.
But now, let's leave this aside. I have something to share with you!
My friend's friend, by the name of Edison Justin Cross, look alike to Jon Foo; the lead role of Tekken. Here's a picture of him and Jon Foo, side by side.

Don't they look alike? What do you think?
Okay, I'm gonna end this entry now. It's time for work out!
P/S: I hope my interview went through smoothly! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
