The incident that happened today gave me the inspiration to blog about this topic- TRUST.
What is Trust? Why is it so important, be it at work, between friends or family? What impact does it cause to an individual?
How far do you agree with this statement?
Before that, allow me to elaborate on today's incident. An incident that happened to me for the FIRST time in life; an incident that I'll never forget. Read the following for a clear start to my story..
This morning, I was out of the office running some errands, and I remembered I was halfway doing my excel sheet, and left it there when I stepped out of the office. When I came back, I saw my desktop running a program from Internet Explorer, which I had opened earlier this morning for my reference. Don't you find it ridiculous having your superior checking on your computer when you're out of the office? Anyhow, it did not escalate into an argument because I didn't want to worsen the matter. Tell me, what would you do if you were me?
I'm someone who trust another person so easily that I could tell you my deepest darkest secrets within days of knowing you. But now, after undergoing all these shits, I think it's time for me to trust only myself, and probably my close friends around me. You can never imagine the impact that hit on me.
This saying is true.. So true that I had no choice but to face it. I can never tolerate people who doubt my trust, or worst still, betray it. In fact, nobody would love to get doubted or betrayed. This is human nature.
After what had happened, I'm beginning to watch my words at work. I told some of my colleagues about this incident, and they were damn pissed. Well, it's right for them to be pissed because everyone knows that she think highly of herself, which is a total bullshit.
Having no mutual trust or understanding between superior and subordinate makes working a hell lot harder. This applies to friends and family too. Well, it ain't so bad when you build rapport and gain trust with your workers, which I had done so. Despite working for a month plus, they had instill their trust in me. I'm really glad I have them around me. And you can never imagine this. Whatever my manager did, either to me, or to the workers, we always share, and that just made her a fool.
I really wish people reading this could think things through. Never be like me. :)

maybe you are still new to the 'actual' working society. you're bounded by company rules once you signed their contact. they have every right to look into your account and your emails simply for the reason for fear that you have leaked any company information or related stuff (whether unknowingly or not). or whether you are using their machines (i.e computer) to search for new jobs etc. they can even hire IT technician to look into your deleted items. all i can say is, once you are working in a company, it's best to do everything in discreet. don't leave behind trails. if you choose to do it openly, and dont be afraid to have someone checked on your machine. you did right for not confronting them, because they have every reason to refute. or it might make things worse for you, as though you have anything to hide. for other people who do the same thing such as checking your computer etc, THAT is intruding of privacy.
